After receiving his law degree, Wayne served as Legal Assistant to then Governor Robert E. McNair until 1971 when he became a founding member of McNair Law Firm, P.A. On December 17, 2003, Wayne became the Firm's Senior Shareholder, having previously served as the Firm's Managing Shareholder until that date.
